About Our Staff



Our staff is comprised of architects and construction professionals
with over 10 years of BIM expertise on projects ranging from small residential to large commercial to multi-campus structures to city planning.

 

Thomas Simmons - President and CEO:

  • The founder of ARCHVISTA and recognized for expertise in building information technology, Tom is responsible for developing new and ongoing business. He has spoken at major industry events including AEC Systems, AIA Desert Practice Conference and the AIA Monterey Design Conference. He has authored several books on Building Information Modeling, ArchiCAD and architectural technology. He was formerly the Director of Technology with the award winning firm of EHDD Architects, San Francisco. He earned a Masters of Architecture from UC Berkeley in 1988.

Jeff OlkenDirector of Building Information Services:

  • Jeff has focused on the implementation of Building Information Technologies throughout his career and has spoken at major industry events across the U.S. including the AIA convention, AEC Systems, and ArchiCAD University. He was formerly with Graphisoft U.S., Director of Technology with DNM Architects, and General Manager for TECbuild. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley in 1993, and returned to teach ArchiCAD in 1994-1995. He earned his MBA in 2001.

Tracie Simmons Director of Marketing and Operations:

  • Tracie brings nearly 20 years of marketing and management experience to ARCHVISTA. Specializing in business-to-business marketing, Tracie has worked for both manufacturers and advertising/public relation’s agencies. At ARCHVISTA, Tracie manages operations, customer service and marketing. Tracie has Bachelor's degree in Journalism, with a Marketing minor.

Frank Gennaccaro Customer Service Manager:

  • Frank brings over 10 years of customer service experience. He has worked in the Restaurant, Hotel, Banking, Market Research, Telemarketing, Automotive and Computer/Internet industries. Frank has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing.

Matthew Brewster Architectural Consultant - Washington & Oregon:

  • Based in Seattle, he has a background in architecture and offers ArchiCAD training and consulting services for the Seattle area and throughout Washington and Oregon.

Dan Hruby Architectural Consultant - California:

  • Based in San Francisco, Dan has a background in architecture and offers ArchiCAD Virtual Building modeling services. He worked as a consultant with Graphisoft and was responsible for modeling several of the award winning Architectural Record Houses.

Neil Wells Architectural Consultant - Oregon:

  • Based in Portland, he has a background in architecture and offers ArchiCAD training and consulting services for Portland and northern Oregon.

Ferenc Lazar Technical Consultant:

  • Ferenc can offer clients custom object programming and technical support. Formerly with Graphisoft U.S., he has a background in ArchiCAD GDL programming, custom API development and object design.

Phyllis Grosz - Accounting:

  • Phyllis handles accounts payables and receivables for ARCHVISTA, Inc.
